Antique 19th Century Victorian Aesthetic movement solid silver water jug and beakers, the jugs straight body beautifully hand engraved with cranes surrounded by bamboo trees in landscape, mounted spout intricately engraved with foliage, the realistically modelled bamboo shaped handle terminating with bamboo leaves, the beakers are made in complimentary Japonism style. The silver is of extremely crisp, heavy gauge and inside gilt. Hallmarked English silver (925 standard), London, year 1883 (H), Maker JAJS (Holland, Son & Slater).
