Antique 19th Century Victorian 18k gold mounted on enamelled glass scent bottle & vinaigrette, of cylinder shape, glass body hand-painted in relief with unusual chinoiserie inspired motifs, depicting colourful birds and butterflies amongst flowers and bamboo leaves. The top hinged lid opens with a push button to reveal a perfume compartment, the reverse set with two hinged lids, the top engraved with elaborate initials and the inside lid pierced to be used as a vinaigrette.
