A fine quality antique 19th century Victorian French solid silver quill dip pen holder. A highly collectable silver dip pen holder finely etched and modelled as a quill. It has a tastefully monogrammed initial'S' on the feather and has the'weevil' hallmark in an oval (1864 - 1893). In good antique condition with associated surface marks and wear. There is a fold across the silver near the bottom of the feather as shown. I have not attempted to clean it. Dimensions - 21cm L x 2.5cm feather width / Weight 13g. The items I sell are in a used antique or vintage condition. This means they may have related flaws or defects.
