1920 English Chester Solid Silver, Kid Leather Lined Purse with Chain Handle, 58.48g. By Robert Cawley, watchmaker, The High Cross, Chester.

Lovely little purse, in solid silver with hand chased detail, good working clasp and hinge, open cartouche ready for personalising with an engraving/monogram. Size approximately: 8.9cm x 5.7cm (3 & 1/2" x 2 & 1/4").

Drop of chain approximately: 9cm (3 & 1/2). The purse has some age related dents (please see photos) but is still fully usable and very pretty. The kid leather lining is peeling away from the frame, this can be easily rectified. Please see all photos using the zoom function available, as they constitute the item description.
