Antique 1892 Tiffany & Co Sterling Silver Chatelaine Vinaigrette Perfume Darner

  

The clip itself is marked Tiffany & Co with a number including the letter "T" for Charles L Tiffany who was director in that period. It is also marked Sterling. It measures 3 1/4" wide x 2" long. There was once a monogram but it has been roughly rubbed out.

A jeweler can polish it and add your monogram if desired. The various objects hanging from the clip include. 1 a silverplate hunting horn shaped vinaigrette which opens up (approx 1.75 wide). There is a small screen inside. I can't find any marks on this, but there is some wear exposing another brass-colored metal. 2 An open flower holder or holder for other items marked Sterling 48, with beautiful decoration, measuring 2 3/4" long x 1 1/4" wide x 1/4 deep. 3 A 4.5 long glove darner marked Sterling with another mark (possible LT but it is hard to read). 4 A cut crystal perfume bottle or tear holder measuring almost 4 long with silver hinged top (not marked, possibly plated). 5 A marked Sterling mechanical pencil which seems to work. The very tip of the pencil where the lead is inserted has a crack. It measures 3 1/4 long.
