Antique 1877 Sampson Mordan vinaigrette scent bottle with silver gilded finish

A fine example of an antique Sampson Mordan solid silver vinaigrette scent bottle. Beautiful scroll embossed design to the top & base.

Fully hallmarked in three places. Date letter - B - London 1877. Flip top perfume bottle with vinaigrette at base. Tightly fitting top - having sprung lid. Push button in excellent working order.

Good strong hinge to the top. Good strong hinge to the base.

In overall good antique condition - except for the vinaigrette part. The grille is missing together with the edge of the front of the surround. Evidenced by photos 5 & 9. Despite this it is still a visually pleasing piece.
