Antique 1871 Sterling Silver Mustard Pot Henry Pope Birmingham Copeland Spode
This antique mustard pot is a true treasure for any collector of Sterling Silver. Made by Henry Pope in Birmingham in the late with a date code for 1871. The ceramic pot is unglazed brown oand brown Sprigware or Jasperware featuring a delicate Hunt Scene pattern of horses, hound dogs and fox, characteristic of the Victorian era. The 3 handled pot is in great shape with no damage and clear glazed on the inside.
It is in the shape of a loving cup or Tyg, a three handled pot for easy passing across the table. It is a very sweet piece the lid needs a little adjustment, hinge works well.
