A very good Antique Early Victorian English Sterling Solid Silver Basting, Gravy or Stuffing Spoon, Fully Hallmarked For London 1839, making this a 183 Year old Antique Treasure. Fully and clearly hallmarked for JOHN & HENRY LIAS registered from 1837 to 1848. This Spoon is 11.5 inches/29.5cm Long, and has a good weight of 105gms, it is of the Old English pattern, it not monogrammed or engraved. The Hallmarks are clearly struck, and the spoon is made of a very good gauge of silver. The condition is good Antique condition for a spoon of 183 years old, no dinks, dents or repairs, a few surface scratches commensurate with age, nothing to spoil the over all look of the spoon.
