An early George III solid silver desk stand with beaded border, standing on three feet and fully hallmarked for London 1767 by Andrew Fogelberg. The inkwell is a later Victorian example with monogram and date as pictured and fully hallmarked for London 1895. The inkwell matches well with a similar border to the base and fits very well.

Offered in good condition with just a tiny pin head dint to the base and no damage to the glass. The base measures 15cms in diameter and weighs 201g not including the inkwell and silver collar and lid.
