Antique French Silver, Blue Glass & Paste Stone Naval Heart Brooch c. B with central elongated hand - Auguste Besson of Rue de Turbigo, Paris in the 1880s. And a boars head, a French hallmark denoting silver. A stunning sterling silver brooch set with claw set paste stones over a blue glass heart shaped background, a crested crown and 3 anchors in the centre. On the back of the brooch is a traditional C-clamp pin fitting and safety chain.
Condition: This delightful, unusual antique brooch is in great vintage condition, with all the original paste stones in place, though one in particular has discoloured and appears black. There are 2 small chips to the blue glass.
