VICTORIAN SILVER CANDLESTICKS IN GEORGIAN STYLE. A good pair of late Victorian Sterling silver small candlesticks by James Deakin & Sons, dated 1897. Hallmarked for the Sheffield Assay Office on both the bases and the removable sconces. Attractively styled in the Neoclassical manner, they have square stepped plinths with beaded detail supporting a traditional ribbed urn with removable sconces.

Date: late Victorian - 1897. Both candlesticks have minor dings around the base, mainly to the plinth base and corners. Dimensions: Height: 11.3cm (4 1/2") Base width: 7.3cm (2 7/8") Sconce external diameter: 4.8cm (1 7/8") Sconce internal diameter 2.1cm (3/4").
