A fine Victorian solid silver butter dish finial in the shape of a cow, by the acclaimed silversmiths Charles and George Fox. The wing nut is also hallmarked silver. The maker's mark'CTF over G. F' refers to the silversmiths. Charles Thomas & George Fox (only the CT and G are visible).

The nut is also hallmarked with a lion passant. It measures c6cm wide and c2.5cm high and weighs 37.2grams. Condition: The finial is in fine condition with no dings, splits or repairs. The following options are available.
