Up for sale is a gorgeous, original gold gilt Sterling silver lorgnette from the Art Nouveau era, circa 1900. The lorgnette is beautifully detailed with high relief poppy blossoms and swirls.

This is a gorgeous, original lorgnette made by fine American silver maker, UNGER Brothers. The lorgnette measures 4 3/4 long. The lorgnette is in excellent estate condition. The lenses are in excellent condition with no chips or cracks.

ALL of the springs and push button work perfectly. When you press the button the glasses instantly pop out at a 90 degree angle. The inside is clearly stamped Sterling with the UNGER Brothers hallmark. This is a very fine, rare Victorian period Sterling silver lorgnette.
