A Top Quality Silver Pear shaped Teapot and Matching Milk Jug. Made by Walter Morrisse London 1856, the items were retailed by Lambert & Rawlings of 12, Coventry Street, London, the trade card of the company is shown on the photographs. The silver teapot is of exceptional quality and weighs just over 740 grams and is of a good gauge of silver, it stands at 6.5" high and an overall length of 9", the body is engraved with floral swags and is in an excellent condition with clear hallmarks and retailers stamp. The matching milk jug stands at also 6.5 high, there is a small bruise and a possible old professional repair (please see photographs) also with clear hallmarks and retailers stamp, the jug weighs just over 260 grams giving a total silver weight of over 1 kg.
