A super quality rare solid sterling silver wax seal. It is unmarked but tests as sterling silver. I would date it to c1900.

It has been superbly designed being cast in the form of what I think is a Woodcock. The initials on the seal look to be a'H' an'A' and a'C' all entwined so any order of these applies. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures 2 inches (5cms) tall and impressively weighs 64 grams. If you have any queries etc...
