Silver Scent Bottle 1884 Birmingham, hallmarked with Makers Mark
A lovely little silver scent bottle in original condition with some wear commensurate with it's age. Engraved with an acanthus pattern and cartouche bears the name R Gillett. The glass stopper fits tightly and the lid snaps shut quite firmly. There are Hallmarks on the base with the makers mark D & LS , David and Lionel Spiers, and it is also hallmarked on one of the sides towards the bottom. The piece is about 4cm in length and the gross weight is approximately 29.8 g.
