A rare Victorian solid sterling silver and glass travelling inkwell. It is hallmarked for London 1846 with the makers marks being TD for Thomas Diller. It has been superbly made being engine turned and the cartouche engraved with the crest of the MacAulay Clan. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs, the screw lid works perfectly. It measures 1.5 inches (3.8cms) across by over 1.25 inches (3.6cms) tall and weighs 74 grams.
