RARE Antique Figural Chinese Sterling Silver Mirrored Makeup Compact with Drawer

  
Offered Here is an antique Chinese Sterling Silver Makeup Box or Compact with a hinged foldup mirror and small drawer. It is ornately decorated on all sides with an embossed pattern and has a figural garden scene on the top lid. This sweet compact dates to the late 1800s or very early 1900s. The mirror folds up as pictured and there is a small powder puff in the little drawer. This compact measures 2" wide by 2 1/2" deep and is 1 in height. This makeup box is in very good all original condition.

The only thing I noticed is the back hinge is a little loose. It is marked for Silver on the bottom. Please view and enlarge all of the photos as they are part of the description. Truly a wonderful and Rare compact to add to any collection.
