A SHEFFIELD 1850 HALLMARKED STERLING SILVER CHRISTENING CUTLERY SET IN THE ORIGINAL FITTED GIFT BOX. THE SET IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION, WITH JUST SOME MINISCULE DENTS AND SCRATCHES BUT NO SERIOUS DAMAGE. THE PIECES ARE QUITE HEAVY AND SOLID, NOT FLIMSY. THE BOX DOES HAVE SOME SIGNS OF LIGHT WEAR AND STAINING, DUE TO AGE BUT THE CLASP WORKS AS IT SHOULD. THE FORK IS 7 3/8 INCH LONG, THE KNIFE IS 8 1/8 INCH LONG AND THE SPOON IS 7 ½ INCHES LONG.
