Wimbledon-Furniture is delighted to offer for sale this fully restored pair of Monumental solid sterling silver Asprey London fully hallmarked five branch metamorphic candlesticks. This are the most refined and sophisticated candlesticks I have ever seen, they have been fully restored to perfect condition by the genius silversmith Clive Burr at the Goldsmiths centre Farringdon London. They are fully stamped and hallmarked with the sideways facing Lion for 925 Sterling Silver, the rosette for Sheffield made, the date letter X for 1997, A&Co LTD for Asprey & Co LTD and then signed Asprey. They are metamorphic as mentioned, each candleholder has a removable cup top so they can easily be cleaned, the central hold is one piece and can be removed, the branch is another piece and then again another top for the single pillars, these can be used for one candle, four or five. These absolutely make a table, a room, anywhere you place them they look exactly what they are, grand, substantial and very important.
