A beautiful German 800 solid silver snuff or pill box. It is hallmarked with the 800 standard mark, the crescent moon and crown state symbols introduced in 1886 along with the makers mark.

It has been superbly designed with the lid being cast with the image of cherubs. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs. It measures over 2 inches (5.2cms) across by over 1.5 inches (4cms) wide by over 0.5 inch (1.5cms) tall and weighs 40 grams.
