Antique Victorian Hm Solid Silver Mother Pearl Fish Knives Forks Engrave Cutlery

  

ANTIQUE VICTORIAN & LATER SOLID SILVER MOTHER PEARL FISH KNIVES & FORKS WITH ENGRAVED CHASED DECIRATION. These are absolutely gorgous - solid silver hallmarks stamped on the knife blades and backs of the forks with a diamond pattern mother of pearl decoration to the handles. The hallmarks on these are different on the knives to the forks - although the engraved pattern seems to match perfectly. The Forks are Sheffield hallmarked by makers Walker & Hall 1929. The Fish Knives are older and bear marks for London 1872 with maker GA for George Adams.

I did consider listing them separately because of the difference in date and makers but because they match so beautifully I thought it better to leave them together. Knives measure 22cm long and forks measure 19cm long. Combined weight of all knives and forks is 537 grams.
