Antique Sterling Silver Victorian Coin & Card Purse
Antique Sterling Silver Victorian Coin & Card Purse. For your consideration we are offering this Monogrammed Ladies Antique Victorian Sterling Silver Coin & card Purse. The Purse opens to a leather lining featuring a compartment for coins on one side and an area to hold cards on the other side. 2 1/2, measuring across the case, and measures approx. 3 1/4 in length, measuring from the top, (where the chain is attached), to the bottom. The Antique Sterling Silver Purse is monogrammed and has some age related minor scratches & dings on the back. This Sterling case appears to have a rhodium plate, which is in good condition and mostly intact. The linked chain is in overall good, secure condition and is intact. The purse opens and closes well, with the latch and hinges intact. The original leather lining on the inside shows age related wear, although intact, however it appears to be missing a pocket, may have been cut out at one time. The purse is marked "Sterling" on the inside back, upper right edge; and has the number "37" with what appears to be a crescent moon shape next to it on the other side.
