A fascinating and smart snuff or trinket box. The box made with panels of mammoth tooth, mounted with silver and lined with gilt silver. Hallmarked for Thomas Edwards, London, 1849. The date letter on the edge hallmark. 7.5cm wide, 5cm deep, 2.5cm high.
